A la pointe du feutre
Des couleurs qui claquent, un humour qui clashe, XDK a plus d'un feutre à son arc. Pour le festival, le dessinateur, qui aime jouer à cache-cache avec les bonnes manières, se réapproprie, à la pointe du feutre, les images qui nous habitent. Des héros du petit écran, en passant par les publicités et les produits de supermarché, il détourne, réinvente et dessine aux feutres des combinaisons inédites et hilarantes. Bref, des dessins qui - tels des collages où les idées se juxtaposent à la vitesse d'une mitraillette - tirent avec humour sur tout ce qui bougent. American way of life en tête.
L'artiste profite aussi de sa venue aixoise pour auto-éditer un recueil inédit du nom de l'exposition, regroupant sur 58 pages, 46 histoires verticales.
At the tip of the felt
Colors that pop, humor that clashes, XDK has more than one pen to its bow. The artist also took advantage of his visit to Aix to self-publish an unpublished collection named after the exhibition, bringing together 46 vertical stories on 58 pages.
